My Last Week of Vacation

This has been a fun week. Monday was New Year's Eve. We had yummy food-summer sausage, cheese, crackers, chips, dip, salsa, apples, oranges, chex mix, and sparkling cider. We played Cadoo and watched Underdog. Then we watched the ball come down in New York City. It was a new one and it changed colors, I think. It was only 11:00 here in Texas so I wanted to stay up until midnight our time to watch the fireworks but I fell asleep barely at 11:45. Katelyn fell asleep at 11:15 so Mom just let us sleep downstairs in our sleeping bags.

On New Year's Day we went miniature golfing at Malibu Grand Prix with the Holmes family. They have a boy named Tyler that is my friend and a girl named Jaci that is Kate's friend. They also have a big sister named Ashley but she is older so she brought her own friend. My score was 62 on the golfing. I beat my friend by 1 point. My dad won the whole game. My favorite hole was a bridge with water under it. I got a hole in one on that one. Tyler and I saw lots of colorful golf balls in a group in the water by that hole. My dad gave me a thumbs up. After that we played some arcade games and then went to Chik-fil-A.

On Wednesday we went bowling with some more friends, the Robinsons. My friend's name is Carter. I got in 4th place for everyone but 2nd for the kids. My brother, Jake, beat me by 2 pins. I couldn't believe it. I was winning the whole time except for the last frame. He was so lucky! After bowling we went to a Mexican restaurant El Chapparel. I ate nachos and bean soup. That was good. Then I got to sleep over at Carter's house. We played the Wii, let off some fireworks, and he let me take some home. It was a fun day.

Thursday we just played at home and helped Mom clean the house. It was kind of boring but kind of fun because I played the Wii and watched movies.

Friday we just played at home again. We did shows and movies with our webkinz animals. They were different transformers and their families. They were also part of the audience. It was fun.

Today I went to Collin's birthday party. It was at PowerHouse Gymnastics. My favorite equipmant set was jumping on the trampoline into the foam cube pit. We played with a parichute and did an obstacal course. We had pizza and a donut cake. We had root beer, twist up, lemonade, and some people had mixtures. I had root beer then a mixture of all the drinks. It was a real fun party.
